Hello Everyone!
I hope this day finds you well.
I am here to admit that I love stencils. However, sometimes I just don’t want to bother cleaning them after using them. Do you ever not use your stencils for this reason, too?
I have an idea for you to try. I am not sure who I learned this technique from, but it’s one of my all time favorite ones to use.
Here’s what you need:
Here’s what you do.
Set up your stencils how you like.
Cover the stencils with a magazine page.
Then drop some acrylic paint on the top.
Scrape the paint over the magazine page, with your stencils underneath.
Add a second color of paint, if you’d like.
Scrape the paint once again, with the stencils underneath.
This is the awesomeness that results from this technique!
Magazine paper is sturdy and really fun to cut or tear.
Now you’ve made some of your own custom collage paper! Go you!
Thanks for watching, and have tons of fun with your stencils, without getting them too messy!
