Cristin's Box of Treasure!

Hello again!

This week I'm creating a different type of project -- OUTSIDE OF THE JOURNAL!

Many of you already know I created an oracle deck called Dear Heart Oracle. My deck has been sitting in a white jewelry-style cardboard box. It works perfectly -- but it needed some bling.

First, I reached for the Dina Wakely heavy body acrylic. I love this paint! It's so pigmented that it doesn't require multiple coats. First, I did a layer of "Ocean" on the bottom of the box. Then, I used a paper towel as a sponge to add a bit of "Turquoise" on the box. 

For the top of the box, I used Dina Wakely's "Blackberry Violet" with "Ocean". Then for some extra texture and bling I used the Artistcellar Sacred Geometry 2 stencil "Seed of Life" with Golden Glass Bead Gel. 

The Glass Bead gel has tiny beads of glass so it will be super sparkly!

To finish it off, I used E6000 glue with a plaster of paris mold of a doll head, that I painted with Art Alchemy Opal Magic Blue/Pink paint.

That's it!
